On the 12th, the launch ceremony of the country's first all-scene hydrogen port construction was held in Qingdao. At the scene, the construction plan of Shandong port Qingdao Port hydrogen energy port was released, marking the official start of the construction of China's first full-scene hydrogen energy port.

At the ceremony, Su Jianguang, Party secretary and chairman of Shandong Port Qingdao Port Group, released the hydrogen energy port construction plan. He introduced that the port of Qingdao in Shandong Province will accelerate the implementation of the hydrogen energy full chain multi-scenario application and build a "China hydrogen port". In terms of specific measures, Shandong Port will rely on Qingdao Port to build "three systems" of port hydrogen supply system, efficient hydrogenation system, and hydrogen safety control system, and build "three demonstrations" of port hydrogen energy whole industry chain integration application demonstration, multi-scenario application demonstration, and diversified application demonstration. The construction of hydrogen energy production, research and innovation development platform, hydrogen energy trade hub platform, hydrogen energy port public service platform "three platforms".

Chen Yingming, executive vice president of the China Port Association, said that the construction of the hydrogen energy port of Qingdao Port in Shandong province will not only significantly improve the quality of port operation, but also effectively reduce carbon emissions, accelerate the promotion of carbon peak carbon neutrality, accelerate the construction of hydrogen production, hydrogenation, hydrogen, hydrogen trading industry ecosystem, and promote the development of port hydrogen energy trade.

In recent years, Qingdao Port, a port in Shandong province, has actively explored the multi-scenario application of hydrogen energy in ports, and coordinated the development of the whole chain of hydrogen energy "production, storage, transportation, processing and use", laying a solid foundation for the construction of all-scene hydrogen energy ports.

At present, on the busy operation dock in the Qianwan port area of Qingdao Port, a car of hydrogen energy collecting cards loaded with containers shuttles to and from the storage yard and the dock, becoming a beautiful landscape.

The maximum traction capacity of hydrogen energy collection card is 70 tons, and the hydrogen consumption is as low as 9.7 kilograms during 100 km operation, which has significant environmental protection advantages compared with ordinary fuel collection card. At present, Qingdao Port in Shandong Province has promoted and applied 50 hydrogen vehicles for various types of ports, with a cumulative operating mileage of 800,000 kilometers and 260,000 liters of alternative fuel.

In addition to hydrogen energy collection card, Shandong port Qingdao Port has also introduced hydrogen energy into the application scenario of automated terminals to drive automated rail crane operation with hydrogen energy. In 2022, Qingdao Port will build the first fully qualified port hydrogenation station in China in only three months, and the daily hydrogenation capacity of the station will reach more than 1,000 kilograms. At present, the cumulative hydrogen refueling capacity of the hydrogen refueling station exceeds 80 tons, reducing carbon emissions by more than 1,000 tons, and building a "low-cost, high-efficiency and highly reliable" port hydrogen energy supply system.

Su Jianguang introduced that Shandong port Qingdao Port also took the lead in the development of 7,000 super-power hydrogen-electric hybrid tug, which can reduce carbon emissions by 1,400 tons per year after completion, and promote the application of hydrogen energy in the port from land to water.

The green transformation of ports requires the concerted efforts of all parties, upstream and downstream, and the whole industrial chain. At the ceremony, Shandong Port Qingdao Port signed a concentrated contract with 10 ecological partners of hydrogen energy port construction, which will gather the strength of the whole industrial chain, build an important cooperation and exchange platform for the high-quality development of hydrogen energy industry, and attract the source of fresh water for future development.
