Pulsar Helium Corporation Announces Major Helium Discovery in North America
Time : 2024-04-24

Recently, helium exploration and development is one industry that has emerged from a decade-long supply shortage. Pulsar Helium Inc. (Pulsar) is an explorer and developer focused on helium, which is critical to today's and tomorrow's technologies.

Pulsar has two projects, Topaz Project in the United States and Tunu Project in Greenland. The state-of-the-art Topaz is located in Minnesota, USA, where Pulsar is a pioneer in helium exploration. After drilling, topaz was found to have a helium content of up to 13.8%, making it one of the highest-grade finds in history.

Helium is a strictly listed raw material in Canada and the European Union for a wide range of uses and applications:

*MRI scanner: Helium is required to keep the magnetic flow of the MRI superconducting. The global MRI market is expected to increase in value to more than $12.1 billion by 2030.

Semiconductor: Widely used in consumer electronics, helium is used in the manufacturing process. The semiconductor market is expected to grow to $1,380.8 billion by 2029.

* Drones and Robotics: Revenue from the robotics market alone is expected to exceed $283.19 billion by 2032, with a CAGR of 14.7% over the forecast period 2023-2032.

* Optical fiber: The cables used by Internet services and communications networks around the world. By 2027, the fiber market is expected to reach $9.73 billion.

Helium is also used in fuel systems for space rockets, nuclear fusion, quantum computing, airships, technical diving, and more.

Our goal is to advance our primary helium project to potential production, establish Pulsar as an industry leader and bring stability to the global helium market." Puslar will continue to focus on sustainable and reliable sources of primary helium, which is not produced as a by-product of hydrocarbons such as natural gas liquids (LNG).

The world's largest source of primary helium is the U.S. National Helium Reserve in Texas, which has recently been privatized and is set to run out in the next few years. Helium supplies are now heavily dependent on sources around the globe, many of which are geopolitically unstable, and the helium produced is a byproduct of natural gas production, meaning suppliers have limited flexibility to increase production.

This is an opportunity for Pulsar to produce clean, environmentally friendly helium that is disconnected from the production of hydrocarbons, with the added benefit of its assets being located in safe jurisdictions in North America (the world's largest helium market) and Greenland.
