Boron Trifluoride BF3 Gas
Boron trifluoride (BF₃) is an inorganic compound. At normal temperature and pressure, it is a colorless, highly irritating and suffocating corrosive gas. It is one of the strongest Lewis acids known, with extremely active chemical properties and is highly prone to combine with substances containing lone pairs of electrons. This gas is a crucial electronic specialty gas and a catalyst.

Product Description

Boron Trifluoride is a colorless gas with a pungent odor, soluble in organic solvents. It is used as a catalyst in organic synthesis, as a raw material for the synthesis of organic borides, and also in nuclear technology and optical fibers. In the electronics industry, it is mainly used as a P-type dopant, ion particle source and plasma energy engraving gas. BF3 and compound hand are used as curing agent in epoxy resin. It is also used as a lubricant for cast steel.
